Roots of Destruction

On a rocky bluff there is a twisted and gnarled old tree whose roots are slowly breaking apart the precipice. Underneath the overhang some of the roots have broken through the rock and are exposed. Every five years these roots can be harvested for 8 pawns of Perdo vis. The drop from the edge of the bluff is about twenty paces and hanging over the edge to cut the roots can be dangerous.
